1. Wichita Jeeps Motorcycle Club
This members-only motorcycle racing club in Wichita could be an intriguing site for drone photography. The Jeeps Cycle Club has been a favorite spot for the locals either for spectating or participaing in the sport. You can fly your drone just right outside the track, but we recommend aksing for permission from the club nonetheless.
2. Botanica The Wichita Gardens
The Botanica gardens is one of the most famous tourist spots in Wichita. If you’re looking for a good spot for drone photography, we highly recommend making your way here at night to capture the garden’s array of beautiful lights. You will have to fly your drone well outside the property boundaries to avoid flying over crowds.
3. Chapin Park
Chapin Park has a dedicated RC flying field at the park’s eastern side. The field is operated by the Wichita Radio Control Club. You will need to sign up for membership with the club to fly your drone here.
4. Garrett Park
Garrett Park is a nice quiet park in rural Derby. The park is dominated by soccer fields and baseball diamonds but also has a few picnic grounds and walking trails. If you go here on early mornings, you should have more than enough space to fly your drone around safely.
