1. Hatchers Pass

Hatchers Pass has it all. There are stunning medows, old scenic cabins, jagged mountains, and more.

2. Storck Remote Control Aircraft Park

Ray E Storck Homestead is a park in Alaska just east of Potter Hill. It’s one of two parks that permit drones and other RC aircraft for recreational flying. It’s a regional park close to Rabbit Clark’s Road and Creek Road. The dedicated area for drones offers plenty of space for pilots to fly safely for fun or to film.

3. Reed Lakes Trail

This hiking spot has plenty of spots where you can fly your drone. It’s an 8.7 mile hike there and back and features gorgeous landscapes, a picturesque alpine lake, and a beautiful river.

4. Loretta French Park

Loretta French Park is located in Anchorage, Alaska. It has an elevation of 143 meters and is situated to nearby Chugiak. Recreational drone users can fly freely here at the time of writing. There’s plenty of space to enjoy too. Action photographers can film themselves – or others – winter sleighing on the large hill of the north-east corner.
