Along the banks of the Kanawha River there are trails that you can walk or bike on. From there you can get a view of downtown Charleston. Please note that you will need to get LAANC approval from the FAA to fly here.

This small mound has enough space to takeoff and land a drone from.
3. Daniel Boone Park
This small park has a boat launch and it's surrounded by Interstate 64 to the North and the Kanawha River to the South. Although this is a small park, it is possible to fly alongside the river.
4. Little Creek Park
This park is open from March 1 through October 31, seven days a week from 8:30 am to 10:30 pm. It has softball fields, tennis/basketball courts, and an 18 hole disc golf course. There are some small open grass areas where you can takeoff and land.
