1. Ha Ha Tonka State Park
If you’re up for a fairly long drive from Springfield, the Ha Ha Tonka State Park in Camdenton is an excellent place to fly your drone. There is a great deal of variety in sights here ranging from hiking trails to lake views and castle ruins. If you’re hiking to the peak, be wary of strongs winds before you launch your drone.
2. Nathanael Greene Park
The lawns and gardens of the Nathanael Greene park are among the most beautiful in Missouri. This is an exceptionally gorgeous park with open fields, walking trails, and a small lake where you can take nice drone photos. The park can get crowded during the weekends, so may need to play your drone flights accordingly.
3. Fellows Lake
The Fellows Lake is a popular recreation area that draws weekend crowds for boating, fishing, hiking, or lounging in the picnic grounds. It’s easy to find a spot to launch a drone along the trailhead and fly it out above the lake and the surrounding fields and lush forest.
