1. Lake Tobesofkee
The man-made Lake Tobesofkee reservoir is a popular recreation area that can be accessed via either of the three surrounding parks – Claystone, Sandy Beach, and Arrowhead. Practically any drone shot taken from over Lake Tobesofkee will capture the beauty of the surrounding forests, beaches, water parks, and campgrounds.
2. Amerson River Park
The sprawling Amerson River Park is surrounded by a bend of the Ocmulgee River and is a favorite spot for jogging or biking. The open air pavilions provide safe places to launch drones and flying over the tree line gives your drone a gorgeous view of the river and surrounding forested areas.
3. Echeconnee Camp
The sand track of the Echeconnee Camp makes it a great spot for unique and unusual drone photography. If you can catch a bike race event, then you’re set for one of the most dynamic aerial shots you can even get. There are wide open spaces just right outside the race track where you can safely fly your drone.
