1. Delaware Memorial Bridge
The Delaware Memorial Bridge is a 2000-foot suspension bridge running across the Delaware River. The bridge itself is an excellent subject for aerial photography, especially if you can catch sunlight reflecting off the river waters. It’s also an interesting spot for night photography because of the constant flux of vehicles running across the bridge.
2. Dupont Building
Wilmington is an interesting place for those who are into aerial urban photography. The DuPont Building is only one of several buildsing in downtown Wilmington that feature classic architecture. Take care to avoid flying over moving traffic – the open space right in fron of the DuPont Building should give you a good take-off spot for capturing aerial shots of the surrounding buildings.
3. Banning Regional Park
With hiking trails, picnic spots, a baseball diamond, and a view of the Christina River, it’s very easy to come up with a reason to visit the Banning Regional Park. Drone pilots can take advantage of the wide open spaces and the winding river views. This park can be very busy on weekends, so we sugges flying your drone on early weekdays to avoid the crowds.
