1. Lake Sequoyah Park
Located just east of Fayetteville, the Lake Sequoyah Park offers several areas for drone photography and filmmaking. If you want to take a wide shot of the lake, you can head over to the Marina located at the eastern side of the lake. A rocky beach area at the south side of the lake provides the best view of a set of small, cascading waterfalls. The spillway at the north-western corner is also a majestic subject for aerial shots. Lake Sequoyah is an excellent place to spend afternoons with your drone, especailly in the summer months.
2. Lake Fayetteville Park
With more than 600 acres of land and water, there is no shortage of open space in Lake Fayetteville Park to fly your drone. The botanical gardens, the trail around the lake, as well as the lake itself are all picturesque. The lake can be quite busy with boaters and kayakers in the summer months.
3. War Eagle Marina
The War Eagle Marina and Public Use Area is the perfect takeoff area for flying over the Beaver Lake and War Eagle Creek. Beaches, bluffs, and forested areas surround the lake, offering diverse aerial photography subjects.
