Transportation Options
Getting to Prescott and getting around during your stay
Prescott Regional Airport (PRC) offers daily United Express flights from Denver (DEN) and Los Angeles (LAX). This is the most convenient option as the airport is just 15 minutes from our facility.
Alternatively, Phoenix Sky Harbor (PHX) is about 1 hour and 45 minutes away and offers more flight options from major cities.
One of the biggest advantages of our downtown location is the walkability. Most recommended hotels are within a 15-minute walk of our classroom facility.
Downtown Prescott features pedestrian friendly sidewalks, crosswalks, and pleasant scenery, making walking a safe and enjoyable option year-round.
Groome Transportation provides 22 daily shuttles between Phoenix Sky Harbor and Prescott, with drop-offs directly to your hotel. One-way fare is approximately $50.
From Prescott Regional Airport, a taxi to downtown costs about $20-25, or you can use ride-sharing services like Uber or Lyft.
Prescott has a growing network of bike lanes and is generally bicycle-friendly.
For longer stays, you might consider renting a bicycle. There are several bike shops in the area with daily and weekly rental options. We recommend calling them to see if they have availability.
While optional if you are staying downtown, a rental car might be useful for weekend explorations to places like the Grand Canyon or Sedona.
All major rental companies have locations at both Phoenix Sky Harbor and Prescott Regional Airport. Weekend rates typically start around $30/day.
Prescott Transit Authority operates very limited bus service around the city with fares of $2 per ride.
Ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft are readily available throughout Prescott, with typical rides around town costing $7- 12.
